This album is dedicated to my family, friends, and fans who would not let these mostly over 20-year-old compositions die; you have made a bright moon out of my life. Special thanks to Jennifer Trowbridge, Don Jacobs, and Najib Bahri, the original Issa Boulos Quartet, for their encouragement, support, and input. Special thanks to Wanees Zarour for his continuous encouragement and engagement and for believing in its value. Special thanks to Bashar Shamout, Scott Cashman, Suzan Boulos-Zarour, Imad Boulos, Edgar Gabriel, Peter Aglinskas, Osama Zayed, and Greg Clemons; their suggestions and help made the production of this album more efficient.

This album features the Little Composers project that Issa
established an educational program that is delivered through the
medium of music. It is based on contemporary approaches used to
encourage children to work as a team and as part of a larger group
and write their own lyrics and set them to music. The songs were
arranged and produced by Issa Boulos and recorded in Greece.
This recording features some of Issa's instrumental compositions.
The album was recorded on traditional instruments in Ramallah and the compositions have more of a contemporary twist.

This recording features Issa singing the best of his vocal works in the
last 20 and so years. The album was recorded on traditional
instruments and the compositions have the original charm of Issa's
contemporary yet classic maqam feel.

This recording features various artists including Basel Zayed, voice;
Samer Totah, 'ud; Yousef Zayed, percussion; Ibrahim 'Atari, qanun,
and Issa Boulos on 'ud and supporting vocals. Music by Issa Boulos,
poems by al-Hallaj. Click here for more information

This recording features Nermin Kaygusuz on kemence (Turkish fiddle)
performing original compositions by Issa Boulos. The work explores
conceptual, technical and interpretational aspects of maqam music
making.
